From Fisherman to Osteopath

My Journey

Raised on the West Coast, on Vancouver Island in a family of fishermen, summers were all about life on the boat, fishing commercially. After earning my Philosophy degree, I moved to Montreal for a fresh start.

I sought a career that would embody four important values:
- Make a positive contribution to society
- Stay active
- Constantly learn and challenge myself
- Have a flexible schedule for a stable family life

As serendipity would have it, my girlfriend in Montreal was a massage therapist. After experiencing the benefits and its alignment with my values, I pivoted to pursue this career. The connection runs deeper than just that though. Growing up, my father used to give me back and foot massages before tucking me in at night! Now I feel blessed to return the favor.

In 2013, I graduated as a certified massage therapist and started working professionally. In December 2021, I graduated from the Collège des Études Osteopathique and am excited to offer osteopathic treatments to my clientele. My philosophy is to facilitate their body to self-heal by creating greater awareness and space.

Mission

In my practice, I prioritize approaching each patient with compassion and empathy, listening to all your questions and concerns. I foster an atmosphere where you feel safe, comfortable and cared for. My treatments are tailored to your unique condition. Whether you suffer from injuries or simply want to prevent them, my goal is to have you leave in a higher state of relaxation, alleviated pain and increased range of motion.
